Two weeks ago Reis, Finn and I drove down to Melbourne (with stops for Finn it was 11.5 hours of driving…it almost killed me!). This was for the Melbourne Bloggers Brunch hosted by Kids Business Communications. Bloggers Brunch is a networking event between bloggers and brands and Finn and I had a fabulous time at the event. Have a sneak peak at pictures of the day and meet some of brands we spoke with!
These are the beautiful bloggers that attended. Can you spot Finn and I? These are all bloggers that are Mums (although like myself, may not necessarily blog only ‘mummy’ things). The theme for the day was healthy, wealthy and wise. We heard from some wonderfully inspiring business women around their experiences, including the CEO of Cancer Council Australia, Sanchia Aranda (pictured talking to me below).
Life Space Probiotics
These guys were awesome and I really enjoyed speaking with their brand ambassador Giaan Rooney regarding her experiences with the product. We spoke for about half an hour on all things health and life and I can’t wait to share with you an interview we will be collaborating on as Giaan shares how she balances health, motherhood, family and fitness. This was definitely the highlight of my day!
The Air Protect team (Maxi Cosi, Mothers Choice and Safety 1st) was probably my favourite brand we met with on the day. Air Protect offers some amazing technology for children’s car seats (and I’ll have more on this in another blog post too) but they also offered this awesome Mummy-sized car seat…so COOL! I could definitely travel comfortably in this! I think there’s a real market for it, don’t you? Now to get the car companies on board haha.
Finn thought they were pretty comfortable too. This little smile just melts my heart.
Natures Organic and Earth Choice
Other brands that attended included Natures Organic and Earth Choice. Natures Organics offer skin and hair products with organically certified oils. Earth Choice offers environmentally responsible cleaning productsBoth brands are sold at leading supermarkets for a reasonable price. It was great to meet the Mother-Son team behind the brand.
Smash Nude Food Movers
You might remember the post I wrote about 5 things that help you eat well. This included meal prep with the Nude Food Movers range – I really love these products because they make food preparation easy! It was great to see more of the products they offer.
Blogging life with a baby – juggling the baby, spew clothes, note books and cameras! It was certainly Mummy multitasking. Bondi Chai was making a chai berry smoothie…it might have been an instagram worthy moment! They also made some awesome chai cheesecake – SO GOOD.
Lansinoh + Facebook Giveaway
I’ve got a Lansinoh giveaway running on my Facebook until midnight 30 November 2016. You can win these awesome Lansinoh Thera-pearl to help minimise breast engorgement – much more convenient than cabbage leaves! Win this PLUS these other goodies from Lansinoh including: lanolin cream, breast milk storage bags, stay dry nursing pads (these are awesome! Best I’ve tried), and a muslin wrap!!
Taking notes, photos and videos, connecting with other bloggers and brands – it was such a fun day and I was in my element! So much so I forgot to actually eat much brunch…but we went out for a great lunch by the beach after – see photos on instagram here.
