For me, atmosphere can make or break a coffee shop – regardless of how amazing the coffee may be. I want to walk through the door and become so comfortable that I forget any concerns and can easily immerse myself in conversation with whoever am spending time with. This is certainly how I felt at French Twist at the Barracks. I was so overwhelmed by the stunning décor, the smell of fresh bread, the cabinet of perfectly presented pastries that all my problems immediately flew out the window. Jess (a former Sydney sider and beautiful friend) and I sunk into our plush arm chairs, feeling a little like we were in a European paradise and had a very overdue catch up. Here’s a taste…
