So let’s face it: gyms can be expensive and sometimes hard to get to. The internet, however, is easy and accessible from your living room. Don’t worry, I’m not suggesting we all quit going to the gym and sit at home all day! But I think there are two things that you and I might have in common. I like to surf the net and can waste a good hour or so just flicking with my thumbs, and I love to workout but don’t always feel like leaving home to break a sweat. The solution? Having a workout that I can do in my apartment with no equipment! There are so many workout videos out there but I picked just a few so you don’t feel overwhelmed. Even better: they are completely free! We can use them anytime, anywhere, as much as you want.
Get ready move your body from your comfort zone even the days you don’t feel like stepping out the door!

Up first is FitnessBlender. I love FitnessBlender for an online workout. Power couple Kelli and Daniel have video’s that will suit your time pressures, body focus, training type, equipment needs and, as a bonus, they give you approximate calorie burn! They put up great search filters on their website so you can pick a workout that is perfect for you at any given time! You can also find these guys on YouTube. There are literally hundreds of videos to choose from, so you should never get bored.
Favourite Fitness Blender video – butt and thigh
One of my FitnessBlender favourites is the no equipment butt and thigh workout! It gives those muscles a good squeeze and makes me feel like I’ve been able to get my body moving with the limited time I have. Want to know what else I love about this? I understand the moves they are doing! I’m not left confused or feeling uncoordinated.
Blogilates
Blogilates focuses on Pilates and makes it super fun! Cassey Ho is the certified Pilates and Fitness Instructor that will take you on a fitness journey to get you looking fab! For someone like me who doesn’t attend Pilates classes, this is perfect and the moves are safe to try at home. Cassey has an online YouTube channel where you will see she has over 2 million followers – something must be working for so many people to be doing her workouts!
Favourite Blogilates video – pilates arm workout
If you have 10 minutes, I’d check out her Pilates arm workout, with no equipment required. I was sceptical about this one but trust me, you will feel the burn! All of her videos provide a fun way to work Pilates into your fitness regime and build up strength.
Blogilates app
If you like what you see, there is a free Blogilates app that gives you access to all Cassey’s workouts, multiple recipes and allows you to track your progress. This is my favourite workout app, especially when I am travelling.

Favourite POPSugar Fitness video – 10 minute ab and core workout
I love these videos because they are fun, upbeat and get your heart rate up! There are heaps of videos on their YouTube channel to choose from but one to check out is the 10 minute ab and core workout. If you’ve got a little more time up your sleeve, POPSUGAR have also featured a workout with celebrity trainer Jeanette Jenkins that promises to torch 500 calories. Both are worth it and are a great use of spare time at home.
