When it comes to mother and baby skin care products, I’m very particular. I am passionate about using safe, well-researched and correctly labelled products. I am pleased to share that endota spa has just released an impressive mother and baby range, endota OrganicsTM nurture. It has been developed alongside Dr Hayley Dickinson BSc (Hons), PhD to be safe, gentle and as close to nature as possible. The products are certified organic, natural and free from animal testing with the aim to support a mother and baby’s skin during the critical stages of development.
I’ve tried and tested these products and would love to share more with you about why this is a premium range for mother and baby, as I know many of you are either mother’s, mother’s to be or know a special woman on this journey.
Certified Organic, natural and free from nasties
One of the things that shocked me when I had Finn and was looking for baby skin care was that some of the skin care I had was labelled as organic, but when you actually looked into the ingredients it wasn’t organic, nor was it certified by an approved body like Australian Certified Organic. Unfortunately in Australia, to use the word organic you don’t need to have your product certified (unless you’re exporting it) although if you claim to be illegitimately organic you can be fined by the ACCC. This means the only way that consumers can be sure they are using a truly organic or natural product is to use a product certified by one of the five authorised bodies in Australia. This will be noted on the packaging. The most common label is the Australian Certified Organic bud logo. You can read more about whether you should buy organic here.
The endota OrganicsTM nurture range is certified COSMOS Organic or Natural by Australian Certified Organic and made using all-natural ingredients, including chamomile, lavender, oat and aloe vera. The range supports the changes occurring in mother and baby’s skin, by using tried and tested ingredients.
endota products are always free from any mineral oil, paraffin, parabens, phenoxyethanol, lanolin, silicones, SLS, SLES, PEG, colourants, artificial fragrances and other harsh chemicals.
Backed by science
I love to know that someone well qualified develops the products I am using. The doctor that worked alongside endota in developing the endota OrganicsTM nurture range, Dr Hayley Dickinson BSc (Hons), PhD is a leading Australian research scientist with extensive experience and knowledge in reproductive physiology, pregnancy and perinatal health.
“Creating Nurture meant really understanding mother and baby’s skin at critical stages of development, so we could support these natural changes without interfering with them,” Dr. Hayley Dickinson BSc (Hons), PhD.

In developing the range, endota have formulated the products with the understanding that pregnancy and breastfeeding will change a mother’s skin and takes into special consideration the importance of caring for a newborn’s skin. During pregnancy a baby’s skin is protected by nature’s skincare, the Vernix, and common wisdom is to leave it on as long as possible after birth. The range extends the role played by mother nature and preserves the delicate pH balance of a baby’s skin with products that are as close to nature as possible.
With extensive dermatological clinical testing, the range is pH balanced and suitable for sensitive skin of both expectant mothers and newborn babies.
Environmentally friendly
endota have also achieved an Environmental Working Group (EWG) certification and listing for the range. EWG is a non-profit committed to empower people to live healthier lives in a healthier environment and provide backing for safe consumer choice.
Australian owned and made
endota OrganicsTM nurture is proudly Australian owned and made. I will always support Australian brands where I can.
