Our minds are busy and with technology we constantly feed it SO MUCH information. Stress can build more quickly and even leave you feeling overwhelmed. To bring down your stress levels you need to do things that clear your mind. Meditation is one thing which helps in this process. Until recently, I primarily associated meditation with yoga or other monk like practices. It all seemed a little too much trouble to do, to be honest.
Modern mediation – Headspace App
This week however, I discovered Headspace. Headspace is a modern meditation app. There is no incense, crossed legs or hours of chanting ‘OM’. You just lie or sit down for 10 minutes, listen and observe your body as instructed. It is surprising how well it clears your mind. Headspace call it a gym for your mind.
