It is challenge time. I’m setting myself a 28 day challenge today and would love for you to join me. But why? Well, in 28 days I have a ball to go to. The outfit I bought is absolutely stunning, I couldn’t pass it up but… it is a tad tight around the hips, so it’s time to really look at how I’m fuelling my body and cut out the unnecessary junk food that sneaks in when I travel and I’ve been doing a lot of travel lately!
What Will I Be Sharing?
So to help keep me on track, over the next month I’m going to share my HONEST food and exercise diary with you at the end of each day through Instagram stories, along with one thing I did to look after myself. How to Get Involved In The 28 Day Challenge
Download the FREE Healthy Choices Diary
Doing this challenge together will be simple, I’ve even done some prep for us! First, you can download and print the Healthy Choices Diary that I’ve created for us. If you’re already a subscriber to our newsletters you will get that in tonight’s email. If you’re not yet a subscriber, sign up here and when you hit ‘confirm subscription’ the following email that is sent to you will have a button that says ‘download the healthy choices diary’ click that and you’ll be taken to the PDF.
Take the before shot & measurements
Next, weigh yourself and take measurements around your bust, upper arm, waist, hips and thighs, as pictured below. Only do this on the first day. The focus of this is not on numbers, but it can be one way to measure your progress.
Also try on those favourite jeans of yours, you know the ones? They make you feel good, don’t they? Well, they are about to feel even better! Try them on and focus on how they fit.
Note how you feel today
Think about how you feel today and pay attention to those stress levels! Stress creeps up on me so easily, does it do the same to you? Think about how you’ve been spending your time and write down a list of 5 things you can do to relax – some being shorter exercises and some longer. Try to make them things outside of high intensity exercise as really, that is still work, just in a different form.
Share the daily progress for encouragement & support!
Join the Facebook Group to share your daily diary or share on instagram in a post or your stories tagging @eatprayworkout and use #eatprayworkout28days in your Instagram story or Instagram post with your food, exercise and self-care progress and I’ll send you some encouragement at the end of the day!
At the end of the 28 days
After 28 days of eating well, exercising and taking some time out for you, I think you will find that your stress levels decrease and you have more control of your health and emotions.
At the end of the 28 days, do your measurements and try on those jeans again and see the results. Pay attention and think about how you feel. How are those jeans looking? How are those stress levels? For me, how is my ball outfit looking!? Don’t forget to share this either on social media using the #eatprayworkout28days or @eatprayworkout
