Eat Pray Workout has been quiet the last few months, at least more quiet than I would like. I just haven’t had the time or energy to put into it and sometimes you just can’t do EVERYTHING. Where to start? I wondered this morning. I haven’t felt inspirational or like I have anything worth writing/others reading about lately…But I miss writing my blog regularly! So I’ve decided I’ll begin with a post updating you on last weekend and my adventures with my lovely Sydney ladies (for those of you who follow me on instagram you would have seen them referred to as #mygoldengurls – rather fitting seeing we were on the Gold Coast I thought!).
This is Alice, Elyse and Elle. They are some of my dearest friends and I’ve missed them so much since I moved to Brisbane. We decided a girls weekend away was in need so they flew up to the gold coast and we had an apartment on the 17th floor overlooking the ocean – it was perfect!
I felt right at home with my girls. We had brunch, sun baked and read by day; and dined, did manicures and danced by night. We shared our dreams, hopes and aspirations and discussed life’s difficulties in light of our relationship with God. These girls are prayer warriors and the best friends anyone could ever ask for.
And next year, we’ll do it all again. In a slightly different place. With our husbands. Bring it on, I say!
