Three of my favourite smiles descended down the stairs to the kitchen for breakfast today. My Mum, Chrisy from House of Mrs Wong and Tony from Huddle and Co. They’ve all come to visit. Mum’s here for a week of girly catch ups before Reis returns home (he’s been out bush for a few weeks). You might remember her last trip from this post. Mum and I hit DFO yesterday and picked up a few bargains including these little beauties – I can’t wait to wear them today:
Chrisy and Tony are here with Tony’s business, Huddle and Co, who are trading at the Finders Keepers Markets. I’ve been waiting two years to head to these markets – everyone raves about them. Perhaps it’s worth the wait now we have friends with a stall there too! If you want to pop down and check it out here’s the details (no doubt there will be a blog review if you miss out!):
In addition to these wonderful beginnings to my weekend, I also found out I passed my uni subjects (with great marks)! This bring my Arts Degree majoring in politics to an end!! Only one more law subject and I will be graduating with a law degree also. If you prayed for me, thought of me or encouraged me after reading this post, thank you! God answered prayers and your support was REALLY appreciated. Not long now and the fluffy pen can stay permanently in my office…
Another week until my baby will be home and holiday joy complete! I miss him. I was I whinging to a friend that “I feel loved by time and gifts and I have neither from Reis right now!”. We’ve only had a text message a day and a couple of calls. A beautiful bunch of Australian natives were delivered to my door on Thursday night, which put an end to my empty ‘love tank’. Reis was waiting until I needed a reminder of his love the most, during the last week of his absence. The last week before he comes home is always the hardest and goes the slowest. The Australian natives now sit on my table and their beauty reminds me that there isn’t long to go now.
Well I’m off to click my sparkly heels together and say ‘there’s no place like home’. Home is a place of comfort and love. I’m happy to be in my home. With my darling friends and dearest Mum.
